Titans Chat / Summing up this season (For me)

We have had a good season in the main. coming 7th after all our trials and tribulations, we have had 2 coaches who have come and gone (both with different ideas how to play the game), we have seen a player play 100 times for use (JK) who is now going to become the next TV chef, we have found some rough diamonds who will become polished over the next 2 or 3 seasons (playing for us or higher up the leagues) I have seen some poor games, average games and some great games ( Newcastle stands out for me) and I have still not seen Rotherham beat Doncaster at their place (and will not get the chance next season) but most of all I have meet old friends and made new friends and seen a Rotherham side put their bodies on the line to entertain
me and I thank all who are involved with Rotherham Titans for that and ROLL ON NEXT SEASON!

Bristol beat Newcastle, do we think Newcastle have taken foot of the pedal or are the going downhill which was started by us when they nearly lost it not long back.
Nottingham cannot afford to go up with their money troubles and if leeds go up No derby for us next year.

Not sure if I like it that Donny have gone down, as I do not think that if they do not come straight back up a worry for their survival and they could plunge like a stone. I will also miss the derby games as we get minimum 8 points against them.

I think it is time for the forum to say who they think is the player of the season. For me it has to be Dan Sanderson. Not getting regular game time at the beginning of the season until Barney got crooked, he has come on leaps and bounds. I know he has got his fare share of yellow cards, but I believe that he has improved on that thought out the season.

The standard of ref's this season seems poorer than last season. I know without them we would not have a game and that they are respected (Unlike football Ref's). But when was the last time we all watched a rugby match and the topic of a ref's decision was not the first on the lips.
I want it to be like the old days when the ref was invisible because he had a great game being fair to both sides and his linesman help him get most of the decisions right.

We have very quiet on this forum and there is a very big local derby going on this Sunday, with a trophy and more importantly bragging rights at stake. And I for one am looking forward to a great Rotherham Titans win on Sunday. Anyone one else got any thoughts on the score.
