Best Performance?
« on: February 23, 2011, 01:47:29 PM »
Now that the 'regular' season is over what, do we think, was our best performance?

Not the 'best game' or 'best result' etc, but the best perfomance as a team.

For me it has to be Worcester away.

London Welsh at home for me, as the way they disposed of us at Kew was frightening, yet 4 months later we showed them who the Boss was.

Notts at home up until the point we got 673618 injuries was fantastic!

Agree with Kev - we lived with Worcester that day - and at times I think we scared them too - and if we can recapture that form and attitude, I think we can beat anyone, home or away - just need the cnfidence to do it - and ome decent throwing at the line out - that's what has cost us so much this season. Is it so difficult??

Its not just on the number 2.Its a team job and requires timing from jumpers, lifters and the right call for the right time.
The hooker always gets it in the neck but we've used 3 and they can't all be bad.

Bristol - first game of the season!!

No one knew what to expect of Roth at that stage - but I think very few loyal fans truly expected us to win....! I'm chuffed that I bothered to drive down there for that one........!!

Just proves we can win AWAY from home if we put our minds to it.

As far as home wins go I think the most satisfying was beating Nottingham ....but as as far as performance it has to be London Welsh....

The best rugby I've seen was the Nottingham game up until the injuries, some really good 15 man rugby. Overall though LW as the most satisfying.

Couldn't make the LW game due to being on a first aid course, so i would have to say the Nottingham game was the best game for me, barring the injuries of course!

Donny at home for me as well.
When looking at the players faces, and talking to then after the game, you'd think they had just won the world cup.
